Loaded Cornbread Casserole



1 cup cornmeal
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 Tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 Tablespoon sugar
2 cups corn kernals fresh,Frozen or canned
1 cup milk
1 cup sour cream
6 Tablespoons butter melted
1/2 pound bacon cooked and chopped
1 (4 oz) can diced green chiles
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese






Preheat oven to 350 and grease a 9 X 13 baking dish with butter or nonstick spray

In a large bowl whisk cornmeal,flour,baking powder,salt and sugar

Add corn,sour cream and milk and stir to combine

Add butter 3/4 of the bacon,green chilies and 1 cup of the cheese and stir to combine
Pour mixture into prepared baking dish and top with remaining bacon and cheese
Bake 40-45 minutes until center is set and top is golden brown
